Very taste. The meat is cut very thin. The vegetables are cooked just right. Ingredients are combined in perfect portions. Not oily, not over fried. Precisely speaking some dishes are "Wuxi" style, which has some variations from Shanghai Style.
Braised Beef and Potatoes were astoundingly tender and tasty. I have never had better braised meat in my life! And the price points were great. Staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is basic but pleasant.
Blown away by the spices and flavors of this spot on Balboa. Mapo Tofu sizzled in every bite, and the veggie spring rolls were large, hot and crunchy. I mixed the tofu with the rice and took it home, and a few hours later the tofu-infused rice tasted amazing. Shrimp fried rice was freaking amazing. So often I end up being underwhelmed by this dish at many spots, sometimes it's not steaming enough, sometimes it's too bland, sometimes the shrimp is lacklustre.
