My husband and I decided to get coffee and a quick breakfast before heading to Alamo Park to walk around and take a picture of the Painted
Ladies houses.

We stumbled across this bakery and were extremely pleased with the outcome.

I ordered coffee and a ham and cheese croissant, delicious. My husband ordered hot tea and the number 7 which was toast with hummus, cauliflower and something else (he forgot). He said all ingredients were...
really to die for bread!!! i got:

- the daily special: labneh, broccolini, mint, and chilli crisp
- toad in the hole: poached egg, garlic sage butter

both to die for, though i’ll note the bread gets kinda burnt in the back. but it’s okay because the taste is still great.

will be back for the black pepper parmesan bun & one of the sweet toasts!
Excellent bread. No complaints with the baker. One of the best sourdough loaves I’ve ever had!

Apparently, asking to steam cold brew at The Mill is a sacrilege. Just FYI, we’ve been doing it in Oregon and Washington for decades now. It doesn’t break your machine. Not doing so does lose you customers. Maybe this is why Oregon and Washington are above California…
