No line on Thursday evening at 5 pm. It was a bit hard to know what I was gonna get just from the menu but I loved the Yasaj Ten Bukkake. Took me a bit to adjust to the cold broth but The tempura was great.
We stopped by on the way back from Pacifica and we were in need of some warm soup! I love udon so I wanted to give this place a try, and it looked really cute.

We were able to get seated fairly quickly, and we ordered at the counter; water is self-serve. Our food didn’t take too long to arrive. Udon was a little too soft and the kakiage and shrimp could’ve been crispier, but the dashi warmed my freezing hands (SF moment). The sesame broth was rich without...
My fave udon in SF - very chill and consistent spot with a variety of hot and cold options. I enjoyed the citrusy flavor in their broth and would recommend adding the yuzu spice seasoning to some of your bites.
