Kebab Baba Reviews
Best Kebab in SF! The beef shish kebab is my favorite. Recommend this place to everyone around in SOMA
Delicious authentic Turkish food with very generous portions at an incredibly reasonable price point, especially for SF standards! Beef shish and ayran is always my go to between meetings
Coming from Europe, I hadn’t had a kebab in years and this definitely put me in HEAVEN. The Shawarmas were absolutely amazing as well as the baklavas. The owner was friendly and accessible.
I was just so sad I wasn’t able to grab some, one more time before we left (they’re closed on the weekends).
I definitely recommend this place!!! Thank you for bringing this to America🫶🏼

Kebab Baba offers delicious authentic Turkish food with very generous portions at a reasonable price, especially for San Francisco standards. Popular dishes like beef shish, lamb shish kebab plate, and shawarma wraps are praised for being fresh, juicy, and flavorful. Many customers highlight the warm and friendly service from the owner and his daughter, who prepare each meal with care, love, and passion. The meals are made upon ordering, which enhances their taste and quality. The restaurant is especially known for its shawarma, ayran, baklava, and the overall authentic experience. Visitors from Europe and elsewhere often describe the food as heavenly, flavorful, and satisfying, making it their go-to spot during their visit. Portions are large, and prices are considered fair, especially given the quality and authenticity of the meals. However, some find the prices a bit high for certain dishes like the kabob plate, which they feel lacks flavor or spicing, and note that weekends are closed. Overall, Kebab Baba is highly recommended for anyone seeking genuine Turkish cuisine with friendly service and authentic flavors in San Francisco.
