Totally adoring this place. Wonderful irish pub. Couldn't believe our luck to find somewhere so nice that had irish coffees as good as The Buena Vista. The bartenders and owner are so nice and welcoming. Our first visit even though they were nearing their slow closing time they lit a candle and let us stay and enjoy their lovely front table by the window. Will be returning and recommending.

Understated and cozy bar that makes you feel right at home. Saji, the bartender, is incredibly attentive, generous, and throws some great banter. Well worth a visit and truly a highlight on my most recent visit to San Francisco.

Above and beyond! I always know that an Irish pub is a comfort zone for me! Despite the kitchen being closed, my service animal and I were treated like family and I was referred to another spot across the street where we found some tasty Italian food that was also gluten free. Stellar experience all around!

We stopped in to watch a game and immediately loved the place. It's like stepping into a piece of Ireland. Tasteful, understated and cozy. We received a warm welcome and will definitely be visiting again.

Kell's has an impressive basement for great dancing. Beware it can get hot and personal space is non existent.Edit: Apparently this place has fish and chips? Don't worry about that. Just stop by around 11pm on St Paddy's Day and head straight downstairs.

There are not a lot of genuine neighborhood Irish pubs. This is a great one, with a, sincere, pleasant rotating clientele, and patient staff who take care of everyone.

I enjoyed the dark wood furnishings and the seating in the basement. It was arranged very well for an evening comedy show.
