I really enjoyed the almond croissant here — flaky, rich, and just sweet enough. The coffee was satisfying, though not exceptional — I wouldn’t give it a 10/10, but it does the job. If you’re after top-tier pastries and coffee, you might find better options around the Noe Valley neighborhood. Still, a lovely place to stop by if you’re nearby.

This feels like any regular coffee shop, but you come here for the food options! Lunch was amazing and would recommend.
Free parking on the streets on Sunday. Availability is just fine.
Definitely worth checking out!

I visited this location and ordered a macchiato with breve (half-and-half) instead of regular milk. Upon receiving my receipt, I noticed an extra charge of $1. When I inquired about it, the staff informed me that the breve substitution incurs an additional fee.
I politely pointed out that the menu only listed upcharges for certain milk alternatives like pistachio milk, and breve was not among them. Despite this, the employee insisted on the surcharge and continued to go back and forth with me, rather dismissively. I explained that, under California law, customers cannot be charged extra for items not clearly listed or disclosed on the menu.
After reiterating my concern, I requested a refund, which was eventually issued. However, the conversation continued unnecessarily, and I left without my drink due to the unprofessional and discourteous behavior of the staff.
Unfortunately, due to the poor customer service and lack of transparency in pricing, I won’t be returning to this location.

Ordered pickup. They missed one of the sandwiches and it wasn't super busy at the time. The food was otherwise okay but the review reflects my feelings about the overall experience.

Great place but music voice tone is so high.
Better reduce it .
Had frittatas for breakfast. Best described as ‘airplane food’. Cappuccino was super milky and the milk was overcooked. We have baguettes when we occasionally come here for lunch—they’re alright nothing special.
The vibe is pleasant and the staff is always nice. The food is always underwhelming.

I've been coming here off and on over the years and I always get a warm butter croissant I never knew it was a sin to only purchase one.
Recently when I went into the location on 24th Street the lady was very rude to me and I thought it was maybe me the first time so I just brushed it off but upon returning today 11-19-2024 she was rude to me again it was like it was wrong that I only purchased two warm butter croissants I inquired about the French toast croissant and so she assumed that I was purchasing one of those as well and she got upset when she found out that I wasn't I only eat certain things it's nothing wrong with only purchasing what you want what you're going to eat I don't recommend that if you're black that you step foot in this location because I don't understand what it is how you can be so nice to people of your own Latin descent but when somebody else who's of darker skin comes along then there's a problem. I want witnessed her be very polite to the Latin couple who was in front of me who made their purchase they had lots of questions she didn't have a problem with helping them but I only purchased two croissants and it was a problem. I gave it to stars because it's always fresh although I am unhappy because my croissants are always still cold in the middle when I asked for a warm butter croissant but you can't be rude to your customers for no reason especially somebody spending their money it doesn't matter how much it is I'm not sure what their problem is as I said to her as I finish my purchase I will go all the way over on Page Street just to get a croissant or up in coal valley but I will not spend my money at this location again.
Excuse the run-ons with no periods but I use voice to text and I don't feel like editing.

Great bakery with friendly staff. I was on my way to SFO Airport and called this place to save a few sandwiches for me before their closure. The staff were so sweet and accommodated my request. I arrived 5 mins before closure (because of traffic), and the staff had my order ready for me. Great customer service!

Had a quiche that was astounding, fantastic cortado and a very good Kale caesar. The people working were friendly, patient and kind. Will be back here again next time I’m in San Francisco!

Great place, the turmeric chai latte is so good. Everyone working is really friendly and it’s very cute and has lots of seating. I’m really leaving this to beg the owner to play different music. It isn’t so loud that you should avoid this place, but if you’re here alone it is a little disappointing. Why not play some French jazz? Even some classic rock would be better. It’s the worst of the top 50 hits of the last 8 years. There’s so much potential to set a chiller vibe. Only thing this place is missing.
