Traditional french cakes.
By far the best pastries in the Bay. I'm French and I'm pretty sure I haven't tried such great viennoiseries even in France. Everything is a hit, especially the Tigré and the Pain Suisse. Merci ❤️

Le Carousel Patisserie at Tilden is known for the best pastries in the Bay. A French reviewer says the viennoiseries are great, especially the Tigré and Pain Suisse, and calls everything a hit. A South SF fan calls the pastries fantastic, fresh from the ovens, and says the Valrhona pain au chocolat is a taste explosion. A customer calls the little cafe the best pastries ever, describing them as delicate and delicious, and the hot chocolate the best hot chocolate ever. Baristas are sweet, fun, quick, personable and warm. The cinnamon bun is authentic, not overly sweet; the mushroom truffle pastry is incredible, and the tomato pesto croissant is fabulous. It is tiny, so take pastries to go or enjoy them in the hotel lobby next door.
