Lomo Libre Peruvian Kitchen is a hidden gem in San Francisco. The food and service are incredible. Diners are still thinking about the burrito. The garlic fries are SO good, especially with the aji sauce. The lomo saltado with egg and plantains is next-level, with amazing sauce and high quality meat. The Cali Sunset with grilled chicken is just as good, with high quality chicken and sweet potato fries inside. The sauce ties everything together. The Classic Pisco Sour and Sangria are epic. The flavors, service, and reasonable prices are a chef's kiss. The place is really clean with cool tunes. The elevated dishes and sauces are the best ever tasted, with no shortcuts in the kitchen. However, the combination of bar and restaurant does not work for some, as the music can be too loud. One ceviche dish was overwhelmed with shrimps and a bit of fish, with the fried calamari getting soaked in lemon juice. The corn was old. For the price, more fish is needed. Overall, Lomo Libre deserves way more hype and customers.
