The ambience and vibe is that of a local place to come drink, the bartenders and owners generally know their stuff, keeping an eye on the neighborhood and the guests in the manner which they deserve. In general, the Sycamore can be an excellent refuge from the cold, a place to cogitate the meaning of it all alone , or to go with a small to large group of friends who want a tight grungy night out. Coat-tails and gowns are a rarity here, so much so that I have vowed that are some point in my life that I'm going to get dressed to the nines and hang out there for several hours… just to see if I get a stern eye from the bar! 🤨🫠🤨😇🤨🤭“

The burger itself was flavorful and the crunchy, but soft bun and the jalapeño aioli were just right. The picture here is of the Bavarian soft pretzel that we had as an appetizer - it came out hot and the beer cheese was crazy good. The restaurant’s interior is very basic/seat yourself and the noise level is HIGH. Prices are typical for a hotel, but I’d go back for this meal again if I return to the Marriott.“
