Best ceviche and drinks in the city. Miss my Fresca, same owners. Other dishes are just as good.

The food was incredible. My family and I had several different items, and each was amazing. The survers were nice, and they gave great recommendations on what to order.

I really like PeruAna food, but the real point is this special Valentine's Day ceviche: lobster, rocoto, and avocado. It was disappointing if it says it has avocado because you expect to see some slices that are a little fancy, but otherwise they were a miserable 7 green drops. That was avocado? The fried yucca with garlic was very delicious, lomo saltado was very good but it was a little over salted and my dish was marinated pork, the truth is that I would never order it again, it was leather with meat cooked in a transparent sauce, a marinade, the truth is, it is red or a thick color, really very bad. The prices are reasonable and the service very good.

So worth the trip to the city. Every dish was flavorful, cocktails were not watered down and was fabulous and Govanni’s service was excellent. A total winner all the way. Glad I picked this Peruvian restaurant out of a whole bunch in the city. Highly recommend.

I’ve tried several “New Peruvian” restaurants in the Bay Area and I sort of have a biased, nostalgia-laden expectation of “my food” (lol, you can tell I’m Peruvian true and true). There is a common thread tying all these innovative Chefs to their roots. Experimenting with a solid background based in the past (ingredients, seasonings, flavors, etc) looking towards new territory (audience, clientele, locations) to open. The flavors at Lomo Libre are way up there in a new pantheon of innovation (their Ceviche selection is superb and fresh) and they don’t disappoint. I left with a deep feeling of deja vu, ruminating over their lomo saltado flavors in my mouth and my companions could not stop talking about the different flavors of Ceviche they had. Their “Tiraditos” are to die for. Worth the wait for parking. Oh, and before I forget. Their servings are “Bien Taipa’o”.

I’ve been coming here for nearly a year now and the service is unbeatable. The food is fresh and fantastic. After the remodel, the lighting, the decor, and the new bar are all top notch. Very comfortable for dinner or happy hour. Great for catching the sports game as well! Try the Oysters, especially from 3 ~ 6 PM.

Came in to watch 2 sporting events (USC football ✌️) and the Dodgers game AND eat some good food. Complete bonus which made the night even more memorable was meeting Jose, one of the founders. He royally took care of us, made sure we were able to watch the games we wanted (and talked courteous trash as it's a Giants friendly place). Felt like he wants to take care of everyone as if they're all his friends.

The burger was AMAZING and totally recommend it.

Thank you Jose and team!
