Too Spicy to be called a Sandwich.
If your vegetarian DONT ever eat here! My fiancé received her sandwich covered in a sauce she asked not to put on there and after removing the sauce, she bit in only to find Multiple Pieces of Meat were laid in there as well. Horrible customer service as we called to ask what happened they blamed the delivery driver! The sandwiches were labeled correctly when we got them. Lous messed up and wouldn’t apologize. Don’t eat here. Ever.
Great sandwiches. We love many of the specialty sandwiches and make your own options. The only problem is they don’t provide a ‘no meat’ option on build your own sandwich for vegetarians. 😀🙁

Lou's Cafe is an affordable and delicious lunch spot, ideal for those working in downtown SF or looking for a quick bite. Tucked away in a quiet location, it offers a peaceful outdoor seating area and the option to call ahead for orders. Their fresh and delicious bread, great sandwich selection, and tasty house sauces make it a standout. The Roma's club sandwich is a particular highlight, with its creamy and spicy kick. Many customers enjoy the LLB Special and the Risky Bizness, which combines hot pastrami brisket, crab salad, bacon, avocado, pepper jack cheese, pepperoncinis, and Lou's special sauce on a Dutch crunch roll. The veggie sandwich is also praised for being tasty and satisfying without needing a big bite. An Italian sandwich with everything, toasted to crispy perfection, is another favorite. Lou's Cafe offers good value, especially in the financial district, and is highly recommended as a go-to spot for a quick, satisfying meal.
