This time we had breakfast there several times. a good start to the day (that lasts until dinner ;)). very popular with locals and increasingly also with tourists. tw long queue. But it's relatively quick (the Americans tend to be sprinters at breakfast). no reservation. You get a table (regardless of the group size) as soon as you are in line. Whether alone, with a dog or with the whole family - everyone has breakfast there. Mainly indoors, but also various outdoor spaces....
This place was a real treat in San Francisco. On a busy Sunday morning, my friend and I waited about 30 minutes in line. Like many restaurants in the city, it’s a bit small, but they have the menu posted on the window so you can decide what to order while you wait. Once we got to the front of the line, we moved to the cashier and waited a little longer to place our order. After ordering, we were given a number to put at our table. My husband and I had the mama's Cristo i had ice water my husband had a smoothie and ice water(both kinda small) it was definitely different if you've never had a monte Cristo I recommend you try the mama's Cristo you get jam in the middle of the plate along with country potatoes...we are absolutely going to come back.
