We came in early before a performance at Keys Jazz Bistro. We had excellent service. Our drinks were excellent, and our food (Bruschetta, Mista salad, Cacio e Pepe, and Carbonara) was also the best. We also had their delicious bread and tapenade. Probably too much food for two people. We would have been fine without the pasta. We would definitely return to try some new things on their extensive menu. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. Very friendly, casual dining spot.

I chose this restaurant because the menu had items that I thought my whole family would like. It was me, my wife, and two kids (8 & 10yrs old). While there was something for everyone, the quality of the food was mediocre at best. I had the Whole Branzino and it tasted "off". There restaurant was mostly empty except for us and a large party of 12 people. Apparently the larger party was more important to the staff and we were left waiting much of the night. Additionally and most annoyingly they charged for refills on fountain drinks. I understand charging for soda refills if they are sold by the can, but I've never been to a restaurant that charged for fountain refills. They also made no mention of it in the menu and the staff said nothing when we requested refills. That is beyond penny pinching. A mediocre dinner for 4 (two adults and two kids) should not cost over $315. Maybe it was all the soda.

I came here for Father's Day from out of town, so I am not sure if this may have impacted the service provided. However, the place did not seem as busy for the time of our reservation at 7:45 pm. We got sat at a table that seemed to be occupied prior to our seating. That's not a gigantic problem, although it's not alright either. The problem was with how long they took to properly set up the table after we were seated, and in addition we had to point out what things were missing from the table set up. For example, we had to point out there was a cup of water from the previous party left over, my mom's cloth napkin was missing, and my dad had a missing fork. That's still not enough to make the experience bad, but it already caused some conflicting feelings as we were still waiting to be offered a drink. It took the manager to come out and take a look at the dining area to get a waiter to notice us and offer a beverage (water). After that, it was the kitchen staff who ended up providing us with water. Which is odd to me given that this restaurant is a bit more upscale. I won't say this is enough to say it was a horrible experience but it's enough to make it unpleasant. We weren't really checked up on, and I would expect far more exceptional hospitality for the prices they charge. Especially on Father's Day to add to that. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration and that the staff be trained up on what things to lookout for when waiting a table.

Very welcoming. The food was very good and initially the service was as well. A very large party arrived and it was quickly apparent the staff was overwhelmed. Given the opportunity we would go back.

We actually ate at the other Mona Lisa across the street, not realizing there were two separate Mona Lisa restaurants.

I visited this restaurant to celebrate my daughter's graduation with a party of 12 guests. After everything, including drinks and dessert, the total bill with tip came close to $1,000. However, I can't complain because the food was delicious, well-portioned, and fresh. The service was top-notch, truly deserving of five stars! As a native San Franciscan, I don't frequently rate places so highly. If you're looking for a venue that can accommodate a large group while still allowing for reasonable conversation over amazing food and service, I highly recommend checking this place out.

Service was extremely slow in the beginning 30 minutes before taking our drink order, but once they did that, service got better for the rest of the meal. Food was good.

Always a great meal at MeM. I had the granchio pasta (crab meat and scallops) and my husband had a NY steak. Love it here.

The soup of the day and the octopus were an excellent way to start our meal. But the clams and the Carbonara were a big disappointment. We won't be going back.

We had a big group for dinner, the food was delicious from the appetizers, main entrees and desserts. We were given the main menu, where some restaurants would have given us a paired down menu. The service was amazing to boot! Great dining experience

If you want to treat yourself and a loved one, this is the place to do it! I spent a wonderful couple of hours with an extraordinary yet perfect crab risotto, orange tiramisu and a smoky old fashioned: every single bite and sip was a joy. All this is a very elegant yet cozy atmosphere, with impeccable service. Truly a gem of north beach!
