Initially my taxi dropped me off at the wrong Mona Lisa. Evidently an issue with their lease renewal at their 40+ years at the same location failed. They closed and move X the street to 414 Columbus Av. Once this was resolved the dinner experience went well. Attentive servers, diligently scrutinized by the owner who paced his restaurant back and forth insuring great performance by the servers. Food was delicious and served served warm. Wine list extensive and reasonably priced for a big city establishment. Noise level was robust, there is a bar adjacent to dining area. I would try MonaLisa again at my next visit to SFO.
The food was excellent. Two of us had the Halibut which came with a fava been puree, so wonderful. The butternut squash was so delishious too! We didn't have time - or room for dessert as we were dashing to a comedy show which was just down the street. Great location, pricing was reasonable and portions were perfect.
It's a nice ambiance restaurant and stays open late. Service was good and drinks were ere good. The Caesar salad was tasty but the pasta was extremely Al dente. It was barely soft enough to bend and super chewy for a spaghetti. I don't think I'll go back but did enjoy the vibe.
Everything at the Mona Lisa was perfect! Nice atmosphere and the food & service was excellent! We will be back soon.
If you're in San Francisco, this is definitely the restaurant for you! Bobby is a fantastic Dj and bartender!

The Lum and Shim family had a remembrance reunion at Mona Lisa Mare Monte and we were treated like royalty and the food fresh, plentiful and deliciously prepared. Our ages ranged from 18 to 90 years old and all were satisfied. Mauricio, the owner, brought my 95 year old Mother and bouquet of flowers with his condolences for my Father’s passing. Ciro our waiter and Bobi our favorite bartender helped with booking and menu choices. The seafood tower and tomahawk steaks were impressive and ample. The pappardelle cingale was a crowd pleaser as were the desserts which were the lava cake, tiramisu and mango, vanilla and raspberry icecream. Thankyou Mauricio, Ciro, Bobi and Mona Lisa staff.

Went here after walking around Chinatown. The front staff was very welcoming. When we went to the bar we were greeted by Bobby, who was AMAZING!!! Best bartender ever!! He was funny and inclusive, his drinks were perfectly poured and he made our night. Thank you for such a good time!!

There is a consistency with the reviews of the food being Bland...The ambience was lovely and the service was great unfortunately, for an Italian restaurant, how could they go wrong on a Pesto dish? It was bland. My friend and I had a craving for Pesto and ordered the same dish. When I took a first bite I thought to myself, it was very bland. I took a look at my friends reaction and she said exactly what I said! When we spoke to the server and hostess regarding our dish their reply was it wasnt the first time they heard the comment! They suggested we try the gnocchi and again, it didnt meet our expectations being highly recommended and all! We were very discreet in voicing out our disappointment and thought they needed to be informed on the quality of food that is being served. When the bill arrived, it was over 200.00 well, with a bottle of Pinot Grigio but what surprised me was, with the kitchen preparing dishes that were not satisfying they could at least have offered the price of the original order but it turned out to be higher because the gnocchi was more than the pesto entree. And another thing was I had to ask for bread way after the entrees were served when they should have served it before! So, my closing review about this restaurant is, if you want a good Pesto dish, you are better off going to Costco and buy ready made pesto and cook it yourself rather than eating at Mona Lisa! The lovely ambience and the great service is such a waste if the kitchen prepares food below average!

Had an awesome experience as always! This time was to celebrate my best friend's bd and the staff made it special. We all had a great time and the food was delicious ❤️
We came in early before a performance at Keys Jazz Bistro. We had excellent service. Our drinks were excellent, and our food (Bruschetta, Mista salad, Cacio e Pepe, and Carbonara) was also the best. We also had their delicious bread and tapenade. Probably too much food for two people. We would have been fine without the pasta. We would definitely return to try some new things on their extensive menu. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. Very friendly, casual dining spot.
Service was italian friendly, but order what you like because the recommendations was not satisfying. Lobster was only half not full like the picture over crab toranelli(better order the original menu's seafood toranelli) but the meat less than half (pictured) , unlike what's pictured in reviews. Dessert was not enticing. Almost ordered Tiramisu, but the waiter insisted so tried pictureless Lava Cake that was said the best, too heavy chocolate tasted cheap. Dessert charged more than stated in menu, probably because I asked raspberry instead of vanilla Gelato. Was just a spoon on top the not-edible lava cake.
Great outdoor seating like the next door's original Parisian street Cafe style. Indoor was too simple compared to the original classic MonaLisa but way more quiet and spacious seating.
$70 for this 2 course before tips
Indoor noise, it depends.. expect regular Italian restaurant when Italian tables are around. But it was Tuesday early dinner so super quiet I got to have the half round booth just for myself but next to 3 Italian old women's
