Great experience at Mr. Pollo! First, the service is excellent - warm and friendly, feels like home. It’s an intimate and quiet space. Theres some calm tunes playing in the background and you can easily enjoy a conversation. The food is hearty and feels homemade, but at the same time I found the favors inventive and unique. One of best meals you can find in SF. Not only was the food thoughtfully prepared and delicious (we had Adriatic figs and focaccia, a tri tip arepa, corn risotto with Guinea fowl, and lemon mousse with apricot ice cream) but it was ridiculously affordable for a 4 course meal.
