I loved this stop on my way home to New Orleans. Your atmosphere and service was incredible. My only feedback is if you only have one pool table, you should have the table open. Two dollars is ridiculous for a play, especially if you’d like to play table rules with the regulars. Make it free and embrace the dive culture your regulars make for you ❤️
Go support this great pub! All the other bars in the area were closed (even though the days/times on their doors said they were open. They’ve all given up except this great pub!). Had a great chat with the publican….it was 4pm Friday afternoon and he said before COVID, this bar was packed. Office workers working from home, 3 day weekends, no-one working Friday’s in the offices, this is hurting all the great hospitality business downtown. Always a 5 star for this place. Full transparency, I've been coming here for years! I love local places and places that transcend time. The grill is back open!!! Yes, that's right! Limited menu but enough for everyone. I left full and satisfied. Val is still the GOAT as one reviewer posted. Love her!! She is quick to greet you and keep you served.
