Good and service and prices are excellent, best value Indian food in SF! Delicious chicken and veg dishes, and free popadum appetizer!

My new favorite Indian restaurant in SF. Once we walked through the front door, we were immediately greeted by smiley employees. The dining area is cozy and intimate. I loved how each table has a vase with a single rose. Romantic touch. The food is sooo delicious! Portions are plentiful, and flavors are immaculate. Papadum (lentil crackers) and 3 dipping sauces is served as a complimentary appetizer. It's quite yummy. But you know that no Indian meal is complete without naan... and WOWOWOW the naan is GINORMOUS here. And butter chicken? Can't go wrong. So friggin good. This place is awesome. The customer service is also top notch. I'll be back again... and again :)

You know when you go to a restaurant and things come out suspiciously quickly? Well, food took a little bit more time here which indicated to me that most of the dishes are made to order. The cumin rice was fragrant and fluffy and the spice profile in the chana masala was multidimensional. Don't skip on the naan bread - it comes huffing hot out of the oven. Our helpful waitor asked us how spicy we like our food and we said medium but I would call our curries mild. FYI. This isn't a place you'll go to when you want somewhere with a bit of a vibe on a Friday night but it's pleasant and well looked after and the service is really attentive. It's a place that you mind find yourself going to regularly on a Sunday night for a low-key dinner with friends or your roommates or love.

We went last night, the food was great and the service was impeccable. Seems like these guys really have their act together vs the old guys who used to run it. The new interior is nice, we will definitely be back.

Delicious food, great prices, friendly staff! What more could you ask for in a neighborhood Indian spot? I came in with my partner for a very casual birthday dinner, around 5pm and got a seat by the window. I love that they use cloth napkins, that there's a fresh rose on the table, and how it made a casual meal feel a tiny bit more special. We ordered the baingnan bharta (eggplant curry) which had this very unexpected charred, smokey, deeply roasted flavor. The naans are HUGE btw. Really nice and fluffy.

Loved loved their food! I am a huge fan of northern indian cuisine and theirs is so tasty, no skimping on spices or flavor. We had veggie biryani, salmon tikka, kashmiri chicken, navaratna korma, papadum, and GF naan. We had 3 people eating and took home a lot of leftovers.Heads up the wait time for food can be a little long because this place is IN DEMAND, but so worth it!Dietary restrictions: Great with accommodating gluten allergies! Offered to prepare pakora ahead of time in separate oil for us if we gave them a 25 min heads up. They also have delicious gluten free naan, which is such a treat.

Food was delicious and at a great price! We got the Thali Special for 2 and it was enough for dinner with leftovers for lunch the next day. Mango lassi was good too, and not too sweet. Host was super nice and funny as well. Will be coming back.

Huge fan! I love Indian food but there is nothing in the neighborhood that is affordable and delicious for lunch for 1person, until now! So fresh and flavorful. The spice level is negotiable which is nice. Medium was great for me. The nan was the perfect blend of chew and soft. The service was EXCELLENT! Nice interior. Clean. Menu has good options to suit many tastes. I will return soon!

This restaurant gives their all to make sure you have a superb experience .This restaurant reliably serves delicious food, has attentive customer service, comfortable seating, and is pleasing to the eye! It's prudent to factor in additional time while dining as the kitchen can take a little while to bring the food. The food is worth the wait.So far, the following dishes have been delectable:Appetizers: Fish Pakora (favorite), Palak Pakora, and Eggplant Pakora.Curry Pots- Lamb Rogan Josh (favorite), Lamb Korma, Chicken Tikka Masla, Chicken Mushroom, Coconut Fish Curry.Naan & Bread-Gluten-free Naan, and Naan.

Solid food, it's good to have a decent Indian restaurant in the neighborhood for that price point. I wouldn't call it my favorite in the city, but it's good enough that I would come here as a regular. They also have a small, but good selection of beer.Staff is friendly and attentive. Space is quite large for the neighborhood.I can't wait to go back and try more from the menu.
