Absolutely love the food here! I took my friends here and they loved the food as well. The service can be a hit or miss just when they’re busy. They are super busy on weekdays for lunch since they’re right in financial district. I love their lychee martinis and their lychee ice tea and always get their red Thai curry which comes with a delicious roti bread.
Osha is a classic SF Thai chain. I'm honestly not sure why their ratings have slipped recently, but my visit last week was spot-on. I kept it simple with a papaya salad and red curry dish, and it was perfect.
Glad to see this new location and that the chain survived the rough Covid stretch. Come support this amazimg restaurant!

Osha Thai Montgomery is a classic San Francisco Thai chain that has survived the rough Covid stretch. The restaurant is a hidden downtown gem with modern decor, located right in the financial district, so it gets super busy on weekdays for lunch. The food is great, fresh, and made with quality ingredients. Popular dishes include red Thai curry, which comes with a delicious roti bread, papaya salad, Pad Thai, Pumpkin Curry, and roast pork, which is a big winner with a huge dinner portion. The roast duck is not crispy and kinda soggy. The mild is barely anything, so ask for medium if you want a kick. The lychee martinis, lychee ice tea, and rice dessert are nice touches. Service is friendly, nice, and polite, though it can be a hit or miss when they're busy. Some may be disappointed by the lack of more veggie options, and chopsticks must be asked for. Prices are reasonable.
