I have been to Pampanguena Cuisine twice and I can say that it is one of the best Filipino restaurants in the Bay Area. The food is delicious, authentic, and affordable. My partner loves the Filipino food and here we eat grilled squid, tilapia and pork. I also love the salted egg and the lumpia. The service is friendly and attentive. The best part is that we eat using our hands like typical life in Philippine provinces. It’s a nostalgic experience that reminds me of my homeland....
I needed a dessert for Thanksgiving (that wasnt cake or pie) and decided on turon. I called around and found this place. I ordered the day before and picked it up on Thanksgiving day. The lady who took my order was very nice and didn't mind my small order. I thought the price was a little steep but I can't say enough how much everyone enjoyed my dessert. Only wish I would've ordered more lol. I am now very curious to try the rest of their menu. Thank you Pampanguena...
Best Filipino food I’ve ever had! I admit, I haven’t had that much filipino food. But this place really hits the spot. As far as I can tell, it’s very authentic (run by a filipino couple).
