Philippine Delicacies Reviews
My local Filipino grocery store (Manila Hong Kong in Reno, Nevada) sells desserts made by Philippine Delicacies and they're consistently delicious. Love being able to grab single servings of my favorite desserts when I do my monthly shop.
I recently bought their Hopia baboy for $4.99 hoping for a gastronomical trip back to the Philippines! The look of hopia (4 in a container) looked appetizing but when I bit my first bite! Ugh! It's nothing but a hard piece of dough with not even a hint of pork lard. Hopia baboy should be firm but not hard and soft and chewy on the inside with the baboy flavor very much the center of delight! This my kababayans is a waste of your money! I would not recommend it to my worst enemy.
