The food and the staff here are phenomenal! I came with a large group and the staff took care of all the different needs of the group. While the rest of my party ate family style (and raved the whole time!), I requested a vegan plate that was a last minute addition. They didn't even flinch and very graciously accomodated my dietary needs. I enjoyed a salad followed by a bowl with lentils, saffron rice, and some sort of greens. It was perfectly spiced and delicious. Highly recommend!
It's just one dude doing everything. He makes magic with his hands. Really complex flavors, everything cooked perfect. Lemonade is also good. Coming back here, didn't know he had a whole amazing backstory.

Ahhhh, now THIS is SOULFOOD. My taste buds were tantalized by the delicious dishes! I had the prawns, spinach and couscous dish with the beets side salad. Absolute perfection.The chef (owner) was warm and welcoming. I came for the 1st Tuesdays Spoken Word event. It was cozy and warm inspiring. I'll be back.
