Used to love this bar until I discovered they charge you an extra $2 for a mix drink. $10 for Jack plus $2 for coke. $12 total WITH happy hour pricing. Who does that?

Refused to give me a tap water, with the excuse “if we gave one person water we’d have to give everyone water”. We ordered a round of 4 beers and 4 shots, seemed like a reasonable request to ask for 1 tap water

Great vibes but frustrated that wouldn’t serve tap water, even upon request. They were implementing a new rule that you had to purchase bottled water, which is a disappointing environmental action from a local SF business.

I had high hopes for Rudi’s to carry on the tradition of Giordanos (5 star), but it’s unfortunately falling short of what it use to be. The wings/sauce are still one of the best in the city, but it ends there AND the wings are 2-3x as much as they were not too long ago. The quality of the Pittsburgh style sandwich has degraded the bread is no longer fresh and soaking everything up, the slaw is really oily and the steak is not as lean. The staff is mostly on their phones with club music bumping for an empty bar which use to be packed with Sat/Sun football fans. Other than the paraphernalia and the sandwich, this really isn’t a yinzer bar anymore. They need to bring back the yinzer staff to advise and make in-house pickles again or might be better off creating a new identity.

They will not give you a glass of water even after you order food and drinks. The owner is very weird about water and mean.

Nice neighborhood sports bar, right across the street from the Roxie theater. Long bar seating on one side, tables on the other. Lots of TVs, 24 beer taps (only about 16 in use at my visit), decent back bar selection, and even a good choice of rums. Good sized wings with great buffalo sauce, mozz sticks could be better, but are ok. Food prices are a little high.

Went out to celebrate my birthday (and watch copa America final), started out alone and ended up making friends with bartenders, the owner, and a few patrons. This place was a great vibe. They sang happy birthday to me and overall the ambiance is on point. Dope spot for sure

Racial Profiling at Rudi's Sports Bar & Restaurant.
Let me begin by saying that my partner and I have been loyal patrons to Giordano Brothers for many years before it closed down and Rudi took over. We've been coming to Rudi's since it's relaunch several months ago, we usually go once a week, sometimes twice a week. Today, my partner and I, experienced the worst "Racial Profiling" in the hands of Steve. R. (Waiter) & Owner, Rudi. We were being forced to pay before we ordered our food. Since we had already ordered our drinks ( not being told we had to pay in advance) we paid for our drinks. I have been coming to Rudi's regularly once & even twice a week, at this point, we would order our food and drinks and pay when we would finish our food. Our waiter, Steve R. was very adamant in us paying for our bill in advance. He explained to us that because "certain types of people" don't pay for their bills and leave. I'm guessing Steve R. was alluding to non-white patrons. I asked to speak to the owner, Rudi. Rudi was very hostile and disrespectful and told us that it's Rudi's Sports Bar & Restaurant policy to charge customer's upfront for their food and bill. I explained to him that this is the first time I've ever experienced this and never witnessed anybody else being forced to pay in advance for their meals. Rudi stood his ground and was very disrespectful and dismissive about the whole matter! I told him that this was very unprofessional in regards to how he's treating his loyal customers, to which he replied, "he didn't really care." It's a shame that Rudi (owner) would tolerate such blatant racism (racial profiling) toward non-white patrons!

Great sports bar with the best buffalo wings in SF! Only removing one star because the prices have increased a lot. The main issue is there's been multiple times only one dude is there to serve a full bar -during a game- which can mean up to a 30min wait for a drink (even if it's your first and just a beer). He's great, but the risk of that definitely keeps me from going pretty often. It's always a good time after you get a drink though :)

Just ok. Did not compare to Primanti Bros in Pittsburgh for the sandwiches.
