The best soup and sandwich place in San Francisco, period! Run by John who cares about every detail and knows the whole community. Definitely go check this place out, it’s delicious!
John is a sweetpie and he makes a mean bisque. Forever stoked to be a neighbor.
Such a great neighborhood staple. Soup is delicious and high quality and staff is great.

Rusty Ladle is an amazing soup restaurant in the Outer Sunset, a place that feels like soup heaven. Every soup is delicious, from the pumpkin miso and clam chowder to the tomato soup and gumbo. They also have the SMELTY, a grilled cheese on steroids. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the owners are delightful. The restaurant makes food that they 100% want to make. It is the perfect spot for a great meal on a cold San Francisco day, and it has a wonderful outside patio for nice weather. The food is the definition of heaven.
