I met a friend here for lunch during a weekday at 12.30. The restaurant is bustling and luckily my fries arrived at 12:20 and got the last table. We ordered food using the QR code at the table and the food arrive in a reasonable time. They brought the appetizer first and then the main dishes. We both got clay pots and they were fresh and tasty. I would come back here. It is def the work lunch time crowd which is invigorating and productive.

I am Vietnamese. I don't approve Phơ here. It is pathetic. Haven't tried other dishes. One day, I'll come back and try other Vietnamese dishes. But I wish I could get my money back for this combination bowl of phở. It is so bad. The broth taste lịke water + fish sauce.

My husband and I came here for dinner—he’s been for lunch before and couldn’t wait for me to try it since we both love Vietnamese food. Everything we ordered was fresh and clearly made with high-quality ingredients.
One standout was the crispy rice balls stuffed with pork—so crunchy and flavorful, something really unique and delicious. The lemongrass beef spring rolls were also incredible—some of the best I’ve had. The lettuce was bright and fresh (not the usual filler cabbage you get at other places), and everything tasted super balanced and tender.
The broth in our soup was rich, complex, and so comforting. Highly recommend Sai’s if you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food made with care. We’ll definitely be back!

Probably the best Viet restaurant in San Francisco. Right between North Beach, the Barbary Coast & Chinatown
