I've had the delivery here quite often but one of the servers here has always been rude the few times I've gone in person. Last time we were here she tried to rush us out the door when there was over half an hour left until closing time, and when I asked her not to take a drink I wasn't done with she told us we needed to be done in the next 10 minutes (again, a full half an hour before close), and not even 5 minutes later comes back to remind us to leave. We had arrived more than an hour before close and had had 20 minutes with our food MAX by this point, it wasn't like we were just taking our sweet time or had tons of food left in front of us that would suggest we would be there awhile; the only dishes we even had left with us were the 3 cups we were using. It wasn't even busy, only one other table was occupied and they were also almost done.
Everything we did from the time we entered the building until the time we left she treated as a huge inconvenience to her. I also work in food service so I understand the need to get people out the door before close, but telling people they need to rush when there's plenty of time for them to finish and be out the door before closing time is incredibly rude, especially paired with the continuous attitude that she was reluctant to help us with a single thing at all. She even blatantly checked the tip amount before taking our paid check back, which I've never seen a server do before. Some of the vegetables we were served had clearly gone bad as well; this visit was probably our last.

Services and atmosphere are quite the way of ‘Japanese’ But the food……. I was having teriyaki chicken and inari sushi. Both are disappointed in the way that teriyaki chicken feels like Chinese stir fry with alot of sugar. And the sushi added too many vinegar, it is sour.

The atmosphere was what youd expect in a more traditional San Francisco Sushi restaurant.
The food was really good. We enjoyed ourselves. The Bento box was good. The sushi and sashimi was good. And the miso was very delectable.

I'm a resident of San Francisco since 1985. But this was first time coming here with my kiddo. I was little disappointed since when we first sat down I smelled a rancid cat pee smell. Like that 90s old school seafood smell. Food was bland and no sauce on the teriyaki chicken plus just a dime size for salad dressing left me in disappointment. Felt like the food tasted sad in my mouth.
The food was very good, the price is very affordable and the employees are nice. A nice place to go with friends when hanging around in japantown!

Bento was delicious! Got it with tonkatsu and saba. The saba was deliciously grilled and very flavorful. My dad ordered something with fish and it was kind of eh, but the restaurant is very cozy and service was nice.
