I tried this pastry (didn’t catch the name) and it was very good! It is like a plain donut base with a sweet crumble topping. A perfect little treat me sweet! I will definitely be back to try everything else!
I was in need of a good cup of coffee while in the 19th/Irving area but did NOT want to go to Starbucks (or the Loop Gas Station!). I wandered into Sheng Kee Bakery and to my great delight, discovered that they brew Peet's Coffee. $2.75 for a large cup! It was wonderful. What a great find.
