You order through a self-service station at the counter, which allows a good amount of customization (level of spiciness, sweetness, ice, etc). When the order is ready, they call out the number on your receipt. Our food was a mixed bag – sweet plum sweet potato fries were tasty, crisp and tender, popcorn chicken was fine but pretty oily and not super crunchy (although the flavor was good, and I appreciated being able to dial between not spicy and extra spicy), oyster mee sua was very disappointing, mostly soup and with a less than generous amount of small oysters.

Workers treated me very poorly, when they are the ones who gave me a wrong order number. Terrible customer service.

I ordered at the kiosk and when I picked up my order I asked for a glass of water. The woman said they don't do that. I was amazed as I am 74 years old and I have never had a restaurant refuse to give me a free glass of water to drink with my meal. I guess they figure if the do that, people will have to buy a drink. I wasn't going to go along with that so I ate my lunch dry and looked for a water fountain later. The food was OK, but the portion of chicken was too much for me and I would rather have less for less money. But that's moot now as I would never patronize them again.

I tried their XXL Chicken Thigh—large, tender, and succulent, meticulously marinated and fried to a golden crisp. Though delicious, the crust is a bit oily and heavy. Overall, a flavorful treat that could be improved with a lighter touch.

Ordered using their self service kiosk for a XXL Chicken Legs and Thigh but when I looked at the receipt the order printed out as XXL chicken breast. The workers showed me their screen and every order before and after mine shows chicken breast. Curious how everyone's orders are all chicken breast. Why give the option of having chicken leg and thigh when the default is chicken breast? I was really looking forward to the chicken since I saw a Shihlin Hawaiian Street Snacks in Cupertino. If I would've known, I wouldn't have gotten it because the pieces were dry.

This place is located inside of Stonestown Galleria Shopping Mall food court. This place does get pretty busy! It's not like your typical restaurant since it is located inside the mall, but there are chairs and tables in the food court area. It also gets really noisy/loud in the food court. I ordered the popcorn chicken and to me it's deee-licous!! It's fragrant, crispy, juicy on the inside and addicting! I'm a sucker for savory foods. The pricing is decent and they give a really good portion. (Enough to actually make me feel full). The popcorn chicken pieces are bigger than some other the other places I've tried, but I actually like that! The basil leaves add a very nice touch. I would definitely order this again!

I was in the mood for some popcorn chicken and wanted to check this place out. Touch screen self order for some hot fragrant popcorn chicken and fried king oyster mushroom. It cost $20 for both which is a bit pricy for snacks but the portions are rather large like for group sharing. I didn't finish my food because the quality simply wasn't there for me.While the chicken again was large I felt they could have cut the pieces smaller there was a lack of flavor. The spice level was there but I didn't even taste the taiwanese salt and pepper. It felt like they forgot it and just put the spice unless it's really light on seasoning. I did select regular and there was an option for extra but I worried it would be doused with hella MSG. The mushroom tasted better but the preferred the stem pieces vs. the cap. The flavor was better than the chicken surprisingly.Anyways won't be back as it was kind of a let down.

Really like their euntrees. I've had the braised pork rice, treasure chicken rice box, fried chicken, and oyster omelette. I didn't like the omelette that much butt these others were excellent, reminds me of food I had in China. I ordered on the digital app so I didn't need to wait in line. It can sometimes be a little slow, but that means it's fresh. You can also see them fry the chicken.

The Latina girl makes it so good. Today it was a Chinese girl and it tartare completely different. There was no flavor and I got extra spicy but she gave me a Sriracha packet for that lol. The chicken taste like nothing, I miss the Latina girl who used to work here

"We always get the fried chicken here every time we come to Stonestown. Every time, we have experienced bad service from the server who prepares the food and hands it out to customers. Today is Friday night, 11/3/23, at around 7 pm. I apologize for not being able to describe her more specifically, but it was a busy night, and she appeared to be of Latino descent. I understand that she might have been dealing with a heavy workload, but I still paid for my food and expected to receive better customer service. Her customer service was really poor, so we have decided not to support this restaurant anymore if they continue to treat their customers this way.I also ordered the soup with oysters other day , but it only had three small oysters. There wasn't enough oyster meat to even taste, and the rest of the soup was mostly noodles and very salty.Times are tough for businesses, and I have always been a loyal supporter of your restaurant. However, due to the way we were treated today, I will be supporting other places that provide better service."

Wow! I am stuffed, but was only able to get through about 2/3 of my meal - there was a lot of meat! Here in Stonestown Galleria food court this unassuming little vendor serves out huge portions (full plates, at least). I ordered the Treasure! Ricebox. The lunchbox includes parboiled vegetables (very crunchy!), tofu strips, rice and what looks like one full chicken breast flattened, breaded and fried to a crispy perfection. The outside was crunchy and the meat inside very moist! The flavor was slightly peppery (my tongue was slightly numb, which leads me to believe that they use Szechuan peppers?) but not overpoweringly so. For a food court offering, I simply enjoyed this meal (had to pack leftovers because of so much meat!). If you are a big eater and enjoy Chinese street snacks, this is the place for you!

Shihlin was my go to back in the east bay whenever I craved Taiwanese styled fried chicken. Saw that they had a location at the stonetowns galleria so I knew I had to get some. I went during a Sunday afternoon. The ambiance was quite causal & similar to a take out restaurant. The service was quite slow! I ordered a XXL chicken thigh bento box & a lemon drink combo via their ordering kiosk and waited close to 25 minutes before my food was ready. I was a bit disappointed that they did not prepare the orders in the order they were received. People who ordered after me got their food before me which I couldn't understand because we all pretty much ordered the same things. The staff there just decided to pack those orders before mine. The fried chicken thigh was decent but my lemon drink was extremely sweet even though I asked to adjust the sugar level. Overall, left disappointed with the service. Would not recommend coming here unless you have a lot of time to kill.

We got the rick box and drink combo - Treasure Rice Box with Sour Plum drink. We also got the plum fries. The chicken thigh in the rice box was really salty to me and I had to eat it with the rice or the pickled veggie in the box. I really like the pickled veggies. I thought the sour plum drink was alright. I wish the wording on the ordering machine wasn't "no boba" or "extra boba" because it made me assume there was boba included. I would have added boba in my drink. The fries tasted sweet but it was also pretty salty like the chicken.
