Posh vibes, chill crowd. The space is sleek, intimate, and effortlessly cool. Service? Top-tier..fast, friendly, and on point. Bonus: the jukebox is retro-styled with modern tech and a killer sound. Sugar Lounge nails the balance between classy and laid-back.
Went here for happy hour specials before going to a show and this is probably the best bar in the city when it comes to the quality for the price. I want to keep coming back for the happy hour specials and for the friendly bartenders :).
Had the Richmond Gimlet and the wife had the Juicy Mai Tai. Drinks were good and music was great. My wife was busy Shazaming music while we drank. The Gimlet was a little heavy on the Mint but it was still tasty. Only for preference I would prefer a botanical gin like Uncle Vals Botanical and ditch the mint garnish. Otherwise great place and you can tell the locals love it.
