Honestly waaaaaay better than that horrible “best mission burrito” restaurant down the street and no line!!! Ordered a carnitas baby burrito and it was huge! And for the price it’s a win!!! My sister ordered a regular chicken burrito and it was 2x huge, had to save the rest for later. Drinks were the regular taqueria drinks and were pretty good! Def coming here again

I wasn't impressed by my al pastor burrito. The meat had a weird aftertaste, although the salsas were good. Quiet, clean, and plain interior.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to move around and no steps nor ramps. Door is normal width and not powered.

The burrito was meal size and filled me up. Although it tasted a little bland. Knowing that gloves were worn while being rolled made me feel at ease. This restaurant seemed to be very clean, and I like it that way.Vegetarian options: Beans & rice burritos all day.

Located in a key spot in san francisco close to transit. Good in and out spot as well. Try it if you have not.

Taqueria San Jose has some of the best al pastor in the Mission. The burritos here are always consistently delicious and is so conveniently located right next to the 24th St station. Service is great and has a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend it.

The best burrito I've ever had. A perfect combo of ingredients and very tasty and moist meat. The green sauce was also amazing. The atmosphere felt very much like you were in Mexico.

Average Tacos in a Sea of Better OptionsDuring my recent visit to a Mexican taqueria in San Francisco's Mission District, my experience was, unfortunately, underwhelming. One aspect that stood out was the use of a single tortilla for each taco. While this was sufficient to hold the ingredients, it's worth noting that many nearby eateries provide two tortillas, adding a bit more substance to their tacos. The 'lengua' (beef tongue) taco, in particular, was a letdown. The meat tasted undercooked, lacking the rich quality that typically characterizes well-prepared lengua.Price-wise, this taqueria didn't hit the mark either. For a dollar less, you can find more fulfilling options in the vicinity. And if you're willing to pay the same price, there are definitely nearby places that offer a superior culinary experience. The Mission District is renowned for its Mexican food, with an array of taquerias vying for the top spot. Unfortunately, this particular spot doesn't quite live up to the fierce competition. If you're in the area and craving tacos, you might want to explore other options to satisfy your taste buds.

Meat was clearly reheated not made on the spot. Tortillas were mid. Didn't see salsa available, only the salsa that was already in the tacos.

I had their super burrito al pastor and it was BOMB, best al pastor I've had in a long time! The flavor was just on point. Chips were extra but not expensive and they were good, their green salsa was good too. The restaurant was spacious and they had an outdoors space in the back, bathrooms were clean.
