Came for High Tea. Delicious food.
Slowwwwwwww service. I had to wave each time I wanted anything. Even to just do the initial order.

Ambiance gorgeous.

Worth it though as an experience. Just ask for everything you want upfront or you’ll be waiting till your tea is cold

Went here for the Afternoon Tea experience. The Garden Court is insanely beautiful. Soft golden light, intricate ceiling, glittering chandeliers— atmosphere was magical (we even had a harpist play during the tea). The food was delicious with variety of classic finger sandwich flavors with artful presentations. Quite a few desserts as well. Our waiter, Min, was so attentive and kind. Service was top tier from the whole staff! The only reason I give it 4 stars is the price. The food and tea options itself weren’t really worth $125 but I guess it’s the service and ambience you’re really paying for. Overall, Garden Court was a delightful place to spend an afternoon

Afternoon tea at the garden court, what a let down. We came to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday and were incredibly disappointed. All of the sandwiches little flavor, but lots of mayonnaise. Not a single sweet was memorable. My girlfriend left hungry. I left with an upset stomach from the copious amounts of mayo. Probably my fault for eating the food. The meal came out to $320 for two after tax and tip. I feel beyond disappointed with the experience. I had thought the experience included a glass of bubbles, not sure why I thought that. But it did not. The space is beautiful but I’d never recommend going to anyone. I feel ripped off. One of the very very few times I’ve had massive buyers remorse on a meal.

The splendid and elegant restaurant, and the variety of breakfast (buffet) dishes are second to none among the hotels I have stayed in in San Francisco.
The atmosphere of the dining environment and the exquisite service make people really feel like they are transformed into a noble.

Food was delicious, along with the macaroons and the chocolate covered strawberries. Sam was our waiter and was extremely attentive and kind. Will visit again

Celebrated a friend's birthday here. The space is stunning – gorgeous rooftop design with luxurious chandeliers. We opted for the Elevated Afternoon Tea Experience, indulging in delicious sandwiches and petite pastries. The customer service was excellent! Staff were attentive, offered great recommendations, and even surprised my friend with a beautifully decorated birthday cake upon our request. Highly recommend!

I've been here before and came with a reservation. There was no one here to serve us so we had to change our lunch plans. Extreme let down. They should not have accepted reservations if they had no staff, and at the very least should have called reservation holders if they foresaw an issue. I went to the concierge and the front desk who remained clueless why there was no service in the main restaurant!

The food can do better, But I loved the service specially with Mel. It's my first time in the city and she gave me idea and advice to go around.

Because when you walk into the location, its main entrance is on Market Street. While you walk through the lobby back to where the restaurant is, you are amazed by the ceiling. Yesterday was a bright sunny 92° day and the light that came through the ceiling and through the stained glass with marvelous magnificent, and yet the room was in great temperature. The service was spectacular. The food was excellent. The ambience was superb. The waiter and the staff were excellent. The hostess put us in the middle of the room, which ironically enough there was a wedding party seating behind us and at no time did you feel like it was a noisy environment the rosé from Paso Robles was spectacular. I had an excellent hamburger and my guest. My business client had a marvelous salad whether you’re going here for lunch for a business meeting or to celebrate an event you will enjoy the atmosphere in the opportunity and by the way on new Montgomery there is a valet service as well.

Where were all the flowers that beautified and popularized the Garden Court? Service was minimal and the food not worth the price tag for the buffet. Sadly, we were disappointed with the experience as it did not live up to our expectations. We will not be back again.

Mediocre breakfast buffet. I'm glad it was included in my room rate. I would not have paid any exorbidant cost for that breakfast. It was a very pretty area in the hotel though.

This place has gone down in time , and this last time is going to be my last visit for brunch, first of all I had made reservation for 10:15 and arrived 10:10 just in case , however end up to be told to stand in a long line with all the people who had no reservations , by the time I reached the hostess was 10:35!! Seated by 10:40 ! Very tight place and noisy , the food was poor quality , eggs were very cold , and everything looked old and dry , even bagels were tiny and not much variety , no berries in fruit sections either expected much more for $44 per person this I wouldn't pay more than $15 per person . I was quite embarrassed since I had invited a business client, and was very disappointed. Then had to pay another $30 for parking as well ... btw no fresh juice is served not even fresh squeezed OJ! Took about half hour to get the attention of the waiter to pay the bill and leave ! Horrible experience
