The pasta cook was the bright spot of the meal. It arrived perfectly cooked, though the sauce was aggressively salty. Too salty. The caprese flatbread was a disappointment and served cold. And the meatball? Cool in the center. I had high expectations, but overall I was disappointed. Would I go back? Yes. I liked the pasta cook, and I always give places multiple chances to pull me in.
The pasta was fresh and delicious. There were several I wanted to try but ultimately I went with the veggie ravioli with the pasticciata sauce. Very very good combo. My friend opted for the tortellini with butter and sage sauce. Also delish. Would def return!
The place can get a tad chaotic but just roll with it as the food was good. I loved my rigatoni and my wife thought her Caprese sandwich could have used a bit more flavor.
