We really enjoyed Monk's Kettle. I would describe it as elevated bar food. Vibe is good and service was attentive. My only complaint is the booth seats are pretty uncomfortable! Get chairs if you can. I would gladly go back.
After a concert, I stopped by to get a late night meal, and ended up choosing the fried chicken wings, and it was the best fried chicken I've had in my life! They are brined in dill pickle juiced and dried out before frying, creating a perfect crispy texture while also retaining the moisture of the chicken... it's not super oily and the taste is refreshing! Food was amazing such a great staff. We split the Lamb Burger and Monk's Burger both had their own unique flavors which complemented them in their own way. The ambiance is always warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the neighborhood. Huge shout out to Lomo for always taking care of us and making us feel like family.
