Not what I expected. There is no tour or discussion of chocolate making. It is a fun tourist trap where you can buy chocolate. More exciting than the grocery store, but not really an experience. Lots of somewhat overpriced food options are available, and several souvenir stores. Parking garage was $18 for 3 hours. There is a 50% discount if you spend enough on Monday through Thursday.
The Ghirardelli Chocolate Experience in San Francisco is an absolute must-visit! The moment you walk in, the smell of rich chocolate fills the air and instantly makes you happy. Their hot chocolate is out of this world — thick, velvety, and perfectly balanced between sweetness and deep cocoa flavor.
