First we were given a smelly table near the restroom which we did not like at all even though we were formally dressed. Salad was tasty. The duck.breast was super but the leg and the wing was too tough not the level of a one Michelin restaurant. White wine by glass was awful.
Delicious food and impeccable service in a modern yet elegant vibe. We loved not just the appetizers and entrees, but also the drinks and the desserts. We would definitely go there again to try the other entrees and appetizers.
The service was superb, food fabulous & overall experience well worth the cost & special effort in scheduling reservations in advance. Highly recommended as this was to celebrate my wife's birthday which the restaurant staff made special effort to make the event memorable.
Loved it so much. The duck was amazing. Didn't love how close the tables were to each other though
Everything you order is unique and an experience. The service is outstanding and the ambiance is incredible. I have two complaints. They pour a very small wine glass pour even for the City's standards. I think it was like 4 oz maybe less. Oh and I know they might come on here and say it is more but they use small wine glasses to make it look bigger but it is not. My second complaint is please put some more vegetable options. Last night I thought I was ordering something with veggies and it was mostly pasta and some veggies. Everything is great there. Honestly, I'll go back again and again. The staff are the best experience I have had at a restaurant in a long time. Just add an ounce to those pours and add some veggies to the options.
We went earlier in the evening which could be a factor with noise level. I'd say around 7 it started getting a little louder but not too bad where you couldn't have a conversation. The food was all delicious. We got the cloud caviar, fried green tomatoes but with tempura since my partner can't have gluten, the halibut, eggplant and prosciutto, and the duck.
As always, a delicious meal and warm and welcoming service. Stewart and his team are just the best.
This is a beautifully designed, comfortable and elegant space perfect with their amazing, perfect appetizers and mains. The halibut and duck standout!
Skip the potato cloud. Perhaps worth a try, but I'd skip. Crispy tofu + heart of palm 10/10. Seaweed noodles excellent. Duck amazing (but salty). Cheesecake, not too sweet very well balanced.
The food has distinctive and complex tasty flavors. Staff are very friendly, professional and courteous. Will come back again

Amazing experience. Each dish had fantastic flavors and presentation (eye candy to go with food). We started with abacore, followed by fried green tomatoes (awesome sauce) followed by deconstructed zucchini blossom pasta followed by amazing duck. All paired masterfully with Hermitage Rhone by sommelier. Very busy on a Tuesday shows how fabulous meal and service will be.
Always love eating at The Progress! The fried green tomatoes were so delicious and I always love the brown butter seaweed noodles!
Just excellent all around. Our server was wonderful, the host was super professional and sweet, and the food runner explained the dishes when he dropped them off which I thought was a great touch. We were all industry and very impressed. Also the restaurant is beautiful. Very well done.
Tremendously creative, with amazing flavors and usage of fresh seasonal ingredients. Michelin star quality but completely without the usual fussiness.
The dishes are very creative and were suitable for a gluten sensitive member of our party. Everything was delicious and well presented.
