If you want good Vietnamese food without being gouged go to San Jose or ask a Vietnamese friend to invite you over to their mother's home for dinner. Any Vietnamese person when asked "where is the best food?", they will always respond at my mother's house. Not saying this isn't good but it's extremely overpriced. Vietnamese food is NOT fancy. My husband and I spent our honeymoon in San Francisco in 2013. On our last night, we went here. It was also my birthday. It was magical! Wonderful food, wonderful staff. And that “fog” dessert

3 stars at best. I had high expectations going in but was disappointed on the way out. They dumbed down the restaurant, super loud, uninteresting and cheap decor, and zero vibe. Sorings rolls chewy not crisp.....shaking beef was much better. Not worth the drive
