Good dimsum IN SF, reasonable price
First time here, a coworker brought dim sum to work and said it was her favorite place.
The store is plain and service is strictly business. Cash only with a line that moves quickly.
4 stars for food because it’s very reasonable price-wise and the portions are very generous. They also have chow fun (I got a large container for $20, it’s about 6-7 pounds worth, not too oily and what you’d expect).
Lunch plates also offered all day.

Stopped by Three Star on Noriega on a rainy day, and it turned into one of the best meals I’ve had in San Francisco.
This isn’t a flashy place - just really solid, well-executed food. I ordered the wonton noodle soup, and everything about it was on point. The broth was clean and light but still had depth, the noodles had that perfect springy bite, and the wontons tasted fresh and flavorful. The addition of greens and green onions rounded it out really nicely.
