Simply extraordinary. It’s very dated and frozen in time but really in the best way possible, this place is really a hidden gem in the SF area. Strong drinks wacky vibe. Highly recommend to everyone looking for a unique experience and low key vibe with a great sense of humor. The only downside is that the drinks are very very overpriced.
Great house band playing hits. Cute little dance floor where the buffet used to be served. $15 is nuts to charge per person for sitting at a table, but you can avoid that fee by standing and dancing. Friendly bartenders. Overall pretty interior but the rules kind of make it stuffy. It still rains, which was fun. Decent drinks. Worth $22+++ per cocktail? Probably not. I'm glad I've been.
The korean beef kalbi/short rib appetizer was nasty. 2 of the 5 pieces were inedible and 90% fat and the edible pieces were super chewy. Their zombie however was the best tiki drink I had on this trip, even after going to zombie village and smugglers cove which tasted a bit watered down.
