Toppu Ramen And Dim Sum House

Quiet, clean, and close to our hotel, Three blocks from the Hilton in financial district. The lady who waited on us was very nice and the food came quick. This was the best steamed buns and fried rice (pork belly) we have ever had! The baked mussels were amazing too. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. I will be anticipating our return to San Francisco so I can eat here again. I highly suggest you come and try this place while here, you will not be disappointed.

We stopped into Toppu Ramen & Dim Sum while exploring San Francisco and absolutely loved it.

I ordered the beef ramen and it was perfect from start to finish. The broth was rich and flavorful without being too heavy, the noodles were just the right amount, and the toppings, especially the egg and beef, tied it all together beautifully. We also tried the gyoza and enoki mushrooms, which were both delicious. For drinks, my partner got a cold Sapporo while I had a lychee drink that was fun and interactive.

The service was outstanding. Our server was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the meal even better.

The atmosphere is cozy but lively, making it a great place to sit down, take in the sights and sounds of the city, and enjoy a hearty meal. Portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and it is definitely a spot I would recommend for both locals and tourists. Whether you are after a casual lunch, a cozy dinner, or a quick stop during your city adventures, this place is a gem.

The food was... fine. Got the vegetarian shoyu. Soup was tasty and the noodle was good (I assume not vegan but didn't ask). Could have used more tofu.

Rating low because like others have mentioned, we were presented a bill with a gratuity added - just 2 people for lunch. This isn't displayed anywhere on their menu or otherwise. After running the credit card the second slip had a tip field as well.

I'm fine if they've got a minimum gratuity, that's their prerogative. but make that VERY clear.

Kimchi soup with rice was fire. Food was great fast and warm. Service was A1 for a quick good bite. Udon also great. Reading past reviews we get it you’re broke. Food was good definitely recommend!! Coming from Los Angeles just as good as home.

We first ordered a steamed pork belly bun, and the picture from the menu was not accurate to what was served as the dish was very small and would be an appetizer for one person, not two. We ordered two spicy miso pork ramen bowls and the ramen noodles were maruchan top ramen quality with tajin as the spice? The pork belly in the ramen bowl was also very overcooked. We were disappointed by this restaurant and the quality of their food. Unfortunately, we will not return, but we thank the staff for their service as they were timely and friendly -- be aware though that tip is included in your bill :)
