Cozy place. Friendly staff.
Tasty food. Excellent quality especially at its price.

Had a wonderful evening at Trestle celebrating my girlfriends birthday. We really liked the intimate interior and ambiance of the place. The service was exceptional throughout the night, including some thoughtful touches to mark the occasion.
We ordered one of each option for all four courses and were impressed. The Red Wine Risotto with braised beef and Roasted Sunchoke soup were definitely favorites. The Cacio e Pepe Spaghetti was solid but nothing special.
We were surprisingly full going into the third and fourth courses so although they offer complimentary bread, consume it with caution. Note that there is an automatic 20% service charge.
Cute, intimate, great food and better service

Excellent and welcoming service from all the staff. The menu was delicious, everything was perfect for our out of town vacation/anniversary celebration. Top of my list for the next time I visit SF.
Still nice place for prefixe good food, good service, comfortable atmosphere. Glad to find out menu changes every 2 weeks!
As always, service was great. We love the table for two in the corner. The did was delicious. It's wonderful to know that gluten free options are always available. Can't wait to come back!
Friendly informed service, attentive. The food was unique and delicious. Just the right amount of food. Seasonal Menu changes every 2 weeks.
This was a great place to have my work anniversary celebration! The food was great and everyone was quite full at the end of the four courses.

One of the best meals I have had in a very long time!!! 5 star dining experience at a reasonable price! The staff is so friendly and attentive. A SF gem you want to experience!! We love Trestle!
Trestle is a small but cozy restaurant, perfect for an intimate dinner. The service is warm, attentive, and very accommodating with food allergies, which I really appreciated. The dishes were good and nicely presented, but way too salty for our taste. Overall, a nice experience.
Finally got to try Trestle for my boyfriend's birthday and they made it so special!! Incredible food, amazing service- we actually made an observation that it must be a lovely place to work at because every worker had this incredible energy and seemed so happy. Amazing all around and will definitely be back!! Thanks so much!
We had a delicious dinner here and would highly recommend it! We love the concept of the prix fixe and 2 choices for an app, starter, main, and dessert. Very reasonably priced considering the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere. They did a great job!
Very nice evening overall and was glad I not only found out about this place, but got to try it. It was a couple's dining experience so each of ordered 1 of the 2 items available for the 4 course meal (just like many other wise souls) and thus we could taste all the dishes. Soup was great and loved the presentation; risotto and pasta both were deemed winners; duck leg was great even if small, but the fish was overcooked and tough; and desserts were delicious. Everything was presented nicely and service was great (attentive without being overbearing). For me the downsides of Trestle were the "intimacy" (read: tight space); the darkness (stronger table light needed?); and the noise level (hard to talk without talking loudly which only exacerbated the problem). The place has a lot of energy (there were multiple birthday celebrations) which creates a fun vibe. Was excited to know the menu changes every 2 weeks and that makes us want to go back one day.
