Wabi Sabi SF at Nob Hill Reviews
Great cozy place to enjoy sushi and a good conversation.
I wanted to give it 5 stars but the service just sucks. The lady who usually is serving just stands and stare in space. It will be 15 min before you can get anyone to come out . The last two times I had to walk to the exit to even get them to pay attention. It's ridiculous.
Don't waste money on the caterpillar, the avocado roll is basically the same. Only difference is no avocado on top

A cute hole in the wall that is so clean and intimate with very authentic proper delicious fresh sushi prepared by a sweetheart. He is an artist. Quite an accomplishment. The rolls are unique. Not the greatest hits you see everywhere. But also very simple sushi like mom used to make.
This is now my go-to sushi place.

Wabi Sabi SF in Nob Hill is a cute hole in the wall that is clean and intimate, serving very authentic proper delicious fresh sushi. The rolls are unique and simple, like mom used to make. The fish quality is always on point, with good portions and nice taste. Staff are friendly, kind, attentive, and quick. One complimentary beer and a free roll were offered. Pricing is reasonable and great value, with 2 rolls and a miso soup for only $20. The caterpillar is not worth the money since the avocado roll is basically the same. Service can be slow, with long waits and staff standing and staring in space. A go-to sushi place for fresh sushi.
