Couldn’t buy anything because the won’t take cash. I believe that’s illegal. I guess they don’t need money.

Super tasty bagels and sandwiches. We were thinking about the Reuben for days after eating it. Fast service and friendly staff.We ate:The OG Reuben with pastrami ($17.50)- generous with the pastrami and cheese. Great texturesCrunchy spice on an everything bagel ($9.25)- generous fillings, well flavoured chilli crisp, not too garlicy.

Chewy everything bagel with veggie spread, salted cucumbers, and capers just under $6. A consistently executed bagel from an S.F. chain.

This place place is pretty hit or miss. Now that there are so many other bagel spots opening in SF it's hard to justify the poor customer service and inconsistent quality.

I'm not a fan of this place @ all! But I'm going to give my reviews in a honest way possible! It's a shame! It ruined my day! My Honeyboo went to this place right after his workout coz I told him I wanted blueberry bagels! So he got us two hot pastrami sandwiches with sauerkraut and what was called Russian sauce... A.k.a. Thousand island sauce?!?! :{ It was okie nothing fabulous but my Honeyboo seemed to like it! He ate all his!! The only thing is maybe they should have cut the sandwich in half coz eating it whole was difficult for me to bite into and it was a big mess coz it was falling all over while biting it! Ughhhh!!! :(( He also bought me two blueberry bagels! I was thinking of having that for a late snack! Well..what a waste! Let me tell you all..NEVER BUY BAGELS AT THIS PLACE..SERIOUSLY!!!! These blueberry bagels were hard as a rock! It looked overcooked and burnt! I literally couldn't slice the bagel in half! With force..I decided to toast it and hope it will become soft?!? It sure didn't! It wasn't editable at all! Such a disappointment really!!! :{{ The only thing I actually liked was their boba lychee drink! :) Overall..I hate to say but I would definitely not come here for bagels! Safeway bagels are much softer and delicious! :) Go get it there please?!?!! As for sandwiches..come @ your own risk! I'm thinking my Honeyboo was probably very hungry to like his sandwich! I think this place would be better if the baker or whoever is in charge of this deli pay more attention to details and taste what you make before presenting it to your customers!!! :{

One of my favorite lox bagels! I got it on an onion bagel and thought it was so good. Service was super fast and the shop was relatively packed around lunch time. Will definitely be back!

Best breakfast tacos in the city! Crispy pastrami gives bacon a run for its money. Kudos to plentiful gluten free options.

Great Rubin! The bread was fantastic and the order came out quick. The ingredients were fresh and made me feel like I was in New York. Please eat here!

Reuben sando is great. Matzo ball soup was very bland. Texture is perfect but lacked seasoning and the broth would be better if it was more chickeny.

Located in the heart of Japantown, Wise Sons Jewish Deli has become my go-to spot for a delightful and fast breakfast on my way to work. This charming little deli has won my heart with its warm ambiance and, more importantly, its mouthwatering bagels. My usual order is the Onion Bagel with Scallions Smear, and it never fails to hit the spot. The genius touch of toasting the bagel enhances its texture, giving it a perfect crunch that plays harmoniously with the creamy goodness of the scallions smear. The staff here doesn't skimp on the smear, generously layering it on the bagel. The result is a delightful symphony of flavors, with the saltiness of the smear balancing impeccably with the richness of the cream cheese. While I occasionally deviate from my usual order to indulge in an Everything Bagel, the Onion Bagel with Scallions Smear remains my absolute favorite. The rare change-up is a testament to the quality and consistency of Wise Sons' offerings. Beyond the delectable bagels, the service at Wise Sons Jewish Deli is efficient and friendly, making it the perfect spot for a quick breakfast pickup. The staff members are always ready with a smile, ensuring a positive start to my day. Whether you're a local looking for a reliable breakfast spot or a visitor exploring Japantown, Wise Sons Jewish Deli is a must-try. The combination of charming ambiance, friendly service, and, of course, mouthwatering bagels makes it a standout gem in the heart of the city. I wholeheartedly recommend this delightful deli for a fast and delicious breakfast experience.

They haven't a clue how to make a tuna melt. And they charge a pretty price for it. Cheese not melted, bread not grilled, low quality tuna...reminded me of cat food.
