Our group ordered the Jokbal, seafood pancake, tteokbokki, spicy braised tofu, cheese pork tonkatsu, Jokbal fried rice, and kalbitang. Food was absolutely great and very comforting. Came back to Sikdang Woori for a second time with a group of six around 7p and had no wait. I have to give major kudos to our waiter, the man in glasses, for being the most kind and sweet man ever! He constantly came to refill our water and tea, was super polite, and just made the dining experience great. Visited LA last month and the extensive KoreaTown and cool lounge bars - this place felt like I was back there. The ambiance for such a tiny restaurant is awesome: the handful of booths hold couples or up to 6 people and the gentle lighting is enhanced by each table having an fantastic wireless mini-lamp which made it feel like it was a candlelit venue for diners.
