I'm saddened to have just learned that Yan Yan Seafood Restaurant is FINALLY closing its door after 24 years serving Sam Francisco Sunset district. Despite living in the South Bay, whenever I get a chance I'd drive the 40 miles to go to Yan Yan for their delicious & sumptuous clay pots, from lamb, to beef brisket to ox tails simmering in piping hot clay pots, OMG! Thanks for all the great memories! My family has been dining there for family gatherings and celebrations since they opened in the 90s. Wish I knew they were closing at the end of February so that we could have gone once more. Best wishes and good luck!

I am so sad that I did not get to say good bye before they closed. I saw the announcement too late. This was my go to place for comfort food and when ever I could not figure out what to do for dinner. :( I wonder what they are doing next! Anyone know?
