I really liked this place. Had the dal tadka and garlic naan. The dal was incredible. The naan was good, but they add the garlic before cooking so it gets a little overcooked and bitter. Still good, just not how I prefer it.
This is one of our go-to Indian takeout place in sf. We are pretty obsessed with Indian food and we've tried probably every single place in sf, and this place is one of the top three to take out in sf. The restaurant itself is very casual, I've only been just to pick up my order. And we are repeatedly ordering from here. Very nice staff, but average experience. Owner/manager was warm and friendly, but never offered water to the table. The back kitchen staff brought out our tablewear. Chicken kebab didn’t seem to be marinated, and the daal tadka was just ok.
