About Zuni Café

Zuni Café is a delightful restaurant that offers a cozy atmosphere with attentive staff. The chicken and duck dishes are standouts, and the roast chicken is particularly praised for its moist and flavorful preparation. The combination of the chicken and the bread salad is amazing, making it a must-try for diners. The Caesar salad is renowned as the best in town, and the fat yummy oysters are known for being some of the biggest and freshest around. While the fries may not be to everyone's taste, they still have their fans. The desserts are highly recommended, and the bartenders are known for making a killer Bloody Mary.

Zuni Café has survived through tough times, including the pandemic, and remains open on weekdays, drawing many out-of-towners and locals alike. The portions are generous, and the service is professional and unobtrusive, creating a memorable dining experience. The lively atmosphere and variety of seating options make Zuni Café a place where guests look forward to returning for a long, enjoyable lunch or dinner. Although it may be seen as a treat for special occasions due to the prices, the excellent food and great wine list keep diners coming back for more.

Came back after a 20 year hiatus, and was very disappointed. The food was just okay,it was not justified by the price- and the 25% mandatory gratuity, the polenta was tasty but boring, same with the risotto, the spagetti with chanterelle was the best dish. Our table was not the best, upstairs in a corner, the waitress was not very attentive, forgot the oysters we ordered, and didn’t apologize or offer anything after she asked if we wanted them when the main dish had just...read full review
