Not many Chinese breakfast places in my area. Stumbled upon this place searching for fan Tuan near me, despite lackluster reviews decided to give it a try and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. I also ordered their pre-made chrysanthemum tea-3/5 and cold sweet soy milk-5/5, self serve grab from the fridge. I tried the minced pork rice- 4/5, pork vegetable bao-5/5, and Fantuan rice roll-5/5. 3 star is for their 蛋餅 and their garlic sauce. The fun tuan(rice roll) is the worst ive ever had. Lmao. I cannot believe how watery and mushy the rice is. Disgusting. Thats all i gotta say. Dont get the fun tuan.
This Taiwanese style breakfast that reminds you of home and the food is delicious. The rice roll, daikon cake, soy milk, and Taiwanese egg omelette are always good choices. They just recently introduced the rice roll with purple rice, which is different and doesn't taste half bad. Prices are solid and the environment is a typical Taiwanese food place.
