I went in to check out the food and deli. The lady was telling me how good the banh canh cua cha ca is and I should buy it. Looks good. Felt bad he was trying to sell it. Went home and something doesn't seem right. I smell the food and it smelled rotten and expired. She was trying to push rotten food to me. I am so upset. I'm all about supporting small businesses. I hope all businesses would smell their food to see if it's still good before selling. I even bought a cha ca sandwich and it was salty. Granted nice ladies but disappointed in the food quality. Never again. I had to toss the food because I don't want my family getting sick before new years!!

We found this small shop by accident (couldn't find parking spot near the restaurant we planned to go). What a gem. This truly hole in wall. It's next to a supermarket at the far end of a strip mall. We picked up a couple of premade Banh Coun (rice roll) togo (no seating). Oh boy, we are pleasantly surprised. They are good, VERY Good! Tasty and quite a lot of food, I couldn't finish it, but my wife did though. We will definitely come back try other items.

Got a che here from the refrigerated section. Turned out it was made with milk, not coconut milk, and the milk smelled spoiled ? just gross

For $10 for 10 pc. This is a pretty good deal around the San Jose area if you want a quick bite. Crispy. Make sure you get it fresh!

I forgot to check in yesterday, and when I tried to check in at Great America after I left, Yelp won't let me. I bought #1 combination bahn mi $7, Tamarind canned drink $1.50, green sticky rice $3.75, and a plate of purple and yellow desserts $5. My parents who were born in Vietnam but ethnically Chinese really raved about the dessert and sticky rice. I don't know what it's called since I was born in San Francisco, but it tasted like mung bean jello but not quite like American jello. I've never seen this before in SF and it was so delicious that my parents said that I should've bought more. The sticky rice here is a larger plate and comes with a box of crunched peanuts, sugar, and salt to sprinkle on it. In SF, it only comes with sugar. It definitely tasted better with the crunched peanut and salt in addition to sugar. The banh mi was also really yummy with the authentic Vietnamese ham and white pork meat. The tamarind drink reminded me of the tamarind candy I ate before, but I'm surprised to see that it's from Thailand instead of Vietnam. The lady was friendly and spoke to me in Cantonese, since she knows both Cantonese and Vietnamese. I'm shy speaking Cantonese since I don't speak it except to my parents and aunt now, but we had a moment of connection when she understood me. I hope to travel to Vietnam for the first time someday, but until then I would love to come to this place and Little Saigon more. Little Saigon in San Jose is so beautiful and clean compared to SF and Seattle.

Pandan waffles are terrible here. Not crunchy. Not fluffy, now chewy, not light. Just soft, soggy and heavy with sugar. Their mini spicy fried bites (banh cay) are extremely soggy and weird. Not good! Honestly this place has the lowest quality foods compared to many other Vietnamese Deli places I have been to.

I asked for two orders of bang knot and wanted them freshly cook and I was willing to wait. There was one old one on the counter. She took the old one and refried it and told me it was new. Normally I would be ok from the one on the counter and I'm good . But this time I asked for fresh ones. Being lied to makes me feel a bit off about how this place do business. Not sure I'm ill ever come back to this place.

Great for Bahn Mi sandwiches. Friendly staff and you can get a selection of treats, coffee and even lotto. Definitely 5 stars.

I had the Banh Mi Chay (vegetarian shredded pork sandwich) and it was not good. The baguette was microwaved and not so fresh so that it became hard and chewy after a few minutes. The veggie shredded pork was also microwaved and some shredded became hard and unchewable so I had to spit some out as I tried to finish the sandwich. It was so bad that I ended up throwing half the sandwhich away. This place used to have better banh mi when it was called Saigon Cafe.

Four stars for their Banh Khot (crispy Vietnamese cupcakes)$9 for 10 pieces, can't beat that. Most places charge and upwards of $13-$15 for 7 or 8.I tried the shredded chicken with pate banh mi and the egg rolls. The pate is a bit to salty, but the eggrolls are good.Would go back for the banh khot, to go foods, and eggrolls, for sure. Not so much the banh mi.

The little old lady is so sweet and super helpful when it came to us asking about certain sweets and what they contained. we went there tonight to pick up a couple sandwiches for our family members and some sesame ball sweets. The bbq pork on both was amazing! The vibe of the place was chill, inviting, and had a great selection of items.

This place is small and has everything mostly already prepared I got some spring rolls and let me tell you they had the best sauce I’ve ever tasted! I order a lot of spring rolls and most sauces tend to be petty disgusting but this place does it delicious!! They also had some sesame treats with melted sugar these were pretty tasty as well!! By far the best the lady was really nice and pretty welcoming!

Don't go here. There was no one who spoke English. So they couldn't help me and I couldn't even get the food I had already paid for in the Too Good to Go app. She had no idea what it was!
