I've been wanting to try this place for a while, but the afternoon crowds always deterred me. So, I decided to come early on a Saturday morning, and I'm glad I did! There were plenty of seats available, and the service was quick and efficient.

The menu is simple, but that's what makes it so appealing. The banh cuon was the star of the show. The texture was perfect, and the flavor was even better than I remember from Tay Ho. The bun moc was a delightful surprise. It was simple, but the flavors were so well-balanced.

The restaurant was also very clean, with tables being cleared promptly. I'll definitely be back to try more of their offerings!

We waited in line for 25 minutes , sat down and they said the rice roll takes 30min, we said ok.
We waited for 30min they came to ask if we want the non rice roll now. We said yes. Then we waited another 15min still no rice roll, we asked them when, they said another 20 min. I said you said it was gonna be 30 when we ordered. Then they said another 14min. Is this a math problem?? Where did that come from?
After an hour waiting, we got the rice roll and it was very mediocre. Idk why dim sum has instant rice rolls but here takes an hour.
We only got water refill once. The restaurant wasn’t the cleanest.
One staff did help with the sun shade so that was nice.

The egg rolls were small and slightly tough. The banh cuon was stale and dry. Perhaps it was late in the day so they didn't make things fresh and were serving things made earlier.

This small scale shop has a focused menu of a few items that done right. We order the 2 specialty items: bún mọc and bánh cuốn. Both were very tasty with generous portion, and the meat balls and chả (vietnamese sausage) were plenty. More northern vietnamese flavours. They have fish sauce and chilli on the table to self serve to taste.

Service was fast and waiters were quick to clean up after every guest group leaves.

Every dish I had is exceptional. Do yourself a favor and eat there while the food is hot. Do not take the Banh Cuon to-go.
Weekend wait times can get ridiculous. Over 30 mins.

just like my mom would make. warm, filling, nostalgic. super authentic and flavorful. got the bahn cahn and cha gio, while my partner got the vegetarian bahn cuon. very happy with our food, and had a lot of leftovers for the next day!! they’re generous with their portions, extremely quick service

Super dirty place. The towel they use to wipe the table smelled like urine, overall super dirty restaurant. Also, we waited for 45 minutes for our food even when the crowd was dwindling. Food was decent, but we will never go back. I can get the same thing at Tay Ho.
