Visited this place for the first time on a rainy day with my 4 year old. We are lucky enough to live walking distance away, so we made a break for it between rain drops. I was pleasantly surprised by the size and space and atmosphere! I love their carrot cake and chocolate cake. I haven't had their regular food but it looks pretty good when I've seen other customers eating. I generally stop in to get a treat for take out. The shop is understated and easy to miss- sort of in an odd corner of a strip mall. It's surrounded by chain stores and chain fast casual food. Really liked this place although I didn't get to try the hot chocolate and had to settle for hot cocoa instead. Drove 1 hour just for the hot chocolate, just to be told that it's sold out. Maybe it's better to up the inventory game otherwise by 2pm you're just gonna run out of hot chocolate and people who travel for hours to try it won't even get any. Hot cocoa was good tho.
