I really don’t like how this shop doesn’t have prices listed. It’s very misleading and expensive. I didn’t know my total until i got to the register. This place is too expensive and the food was disgusting. The sisig was such low quality, i will never come here again. Sisig is my favorite filipino food and it was my first time here. I ordered 2 scoops because i had high hopes. I’ve gone to many filipino restaurants near sf and east bay. There’s not many filipino restaurants here in SJ and this place had good reviews and was packed with filipinos so i had high hopes. However, the sisig is not edible and is the lowest quality of meat. They just marinated straight up cartilage and gristle. You’re chewing on your food for so long and can’t swallow a single piece of meat because the sisig from this place is that bad. Extremely disappointed. Never again. I felt sick after eating here.

Went in to buy a lotto ticket. The lady took my sheet and scanned it twice. It didn't work. She stated there are too many numbers marked. Which was odd because I used the same sheet a couple of days ago. She handed me the sheet back. I examined it, and I realized there was a fingerprint sized grease stain. Before hand, she bagged packages of food from their hot foods area for the person that was ahead of me. Her gloved hands must have been greasy. That was the reason why it didn't work. I told her about the grease stain, and all she said was, "oh". There was no apology. Didn't even give me a new sheet to fill out. She just moved on to the next customer. Needless to say, I'm never coming back here again.

I recently purchased Goto/porridge from Gabrielle’s Food Market, and I am extremely disappointed.
The porridge was spoiled—it smelled bad and tasted even worse and disgusting.
This raises serious concerns about your food quality and safety protocols.

Do you actually taste the food before selling it to your customers? It seems like basic checks for freshness and quality were completely ignored in this case. Spoiled food can pose health risks, and this experience has left me questioning the overall safety of the products sold at your market.

Please implements stricter measures to ensure the food being sold is fresh and safe for consumption. Regular testing of perishable items and proper storage methods should be priorities to avoid situations like this in the future.

Compare the photos of the porridge that was received and advertised.

The BEST TURON EVER! Even after the next day, it’s still crispy and crunchy! The pork Humba is the best or PATA TIM!

Drove here as my friend recommended the sisig. No sisig the day we went. Everything we tried at this place was not good. The worst thing we ordered was the Carioca balls. As soon as you take a bite, it's like drinking oil. Beefsteak was dry. The ground pork dish had no flavor. The grilled pork belly was ok.

Service was friendly, but they were a bit unorganized. This made things go really slow.

Came here after a search for turon. My husband and I had a terrible experience at Valerio’s across the street and wanted to find a different place to get turons. So glad we found this place because the service was great and the turons were warm and delicious. We will continue coming back for more!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Gabrielle's Food Market shortly after they opened for the day, and I must say, it was quite an enjoyable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the wide variety of food options available, both packaged and prepared. The store had an extensive selection of packaged goods, ranging from imported snacks to locally sourced products. It was a delight to explore the shelves and discover unique items that I hadn't come across elsewhere. Whether you're looking for pantry staples or special treats, Gabrielle's Food Market seemed to have it all. What really stood out during my visit was the selection of freshly prepared foods and cooked dishes. The sight of all those delectable options made it a tough decision to settle on what to order. Since I was there for a special occasion, I decided to order a party tray of turon, a Filipino delicacy that I absolutely adore. The service I received was exceptional. The staff was not only efficient but also very friendly. They were quick to assist me in placing my order and made sure I didn't have to wait long. Their warmth and eagerness to help customers were truly noteworthy. The party tray of turon I ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. It was the highlight of the gathering I had planned, and my guests couldn't stop raving about the flavors and the quality of the turon. In summary, my experience at Gabrielle's Food Market was a pleasant one. The diverse range of packaged and prepared foods, along with the fast and friendly service, left a lasting impression. Whether you're seeking a quick lunch, special event catering, or just a unique grocery shopping experience, Gabrielle's Food Market is a fantastic option to explore. I will definitely be returning to try more of their offerings in the future.
