I usually dine in, but the dine in area is closed due to renovations. They are still taking take-out orders, but I won't recommended, the amount of food you receive with takeout is ridiculous. I paid $ 100 plus, and the food was not even enough for 2 people, Also, they won't give you all the items on the description. Basically, they choose what to give you from the menu, with no explanation other than "due to renovations."

It is a family style Japanese restaurant. The restaurant is busy during peak hours and food will taste and look like one of your mom's cooking and that's it. No surprises on plating or taste. The nabe udon we ordered were a bit soggy, believing it is overcook in the hotpot. Was surprised such an authentic restaurant serves tempura and grilled mackerel fish without the daikon but they will send you one upon request. For those who are not a fan for fine Japanese food, this is a place for casual dining.Parking: Been there twice for lunch and dinner on weekends, parked right in front of the restaurant, easy parking.

The service was excellent. The food was good. I had the beef teriyaki and it was good. Miso soup was hot and tasty. The salad dressing wasn't my preferred as it was creamy and drenched the salad. Needs to be on the side. The daughter had the happy sushi boat and definitely happy getting it. The son had the katsu and was pleased with his choice. Nicely breaded and juicy. Wife had the sashimi bento and liked it. The fish was fresh. Overall a pleasant meal for some out of towners that wished we lived closer or they were closer yo us. Would eat there again.

Very good sushi and Japanese food. A little pricey but not too bad for this type of restaurant. Great service!

The restaurant could definitely do with a make over, especially the restrooms, but found the variety of items offered very surprising. Not only can you get sushi and their variations such as chirashi, but curry, tempura, and other teishoku (ie with miso soup and rice) but also kaiseki style (ie various items in box dishes). Though all of the tables were taken, the eating space was not that crowded. I had the tempura, very surprised at the volume of food, but it met my expectations as far as taste and texture. I wished though that a little effort was used for presentation, I'm used to having "wings" of batter, not just dunked and fried.

Went to have sushi at the Kazoo Japanese Sushi Boat and it was great! I had the bento box with teriyaki beef and chicken, and chicken karaage for appetizer. My gf had some kind of roll, I forget what it was, but she liked it. We both had Kirin Ichiban beer and hot sake. The food and service was great and we'll definitely be back.

This place taught me how to eat sushi years ago, and I mean it before COVID-19 began. I wasn't a fan of seafood, but I wondered how good is raw fish; when I went there once, I was amazed from the food, transported by forearm-sized boats. Thanks to this restaurant, I was able to eat raw fish sushi in Tokyo and Osaka, respectively in July 2023.
